What you get

  • An official certificate with a registration number from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt), valid for ten years.
  • Consumption certificate (Verbrauchsausweis) from 69.90 € — based on three years of heating bills.
  • Demand certificate (Bedarfsausweis) from 119.90 € — based on the building’s construction and heating system.
  • Delivery as a PDF by e-mail, usually within one working day.

How the German form works

  1. Choose the certificate type. A consumption certificate needs three consecutive years of heating bills for a building with at least five flats or a building permit from 1977 or later. Everything else needs a demand certificate.
  2. Enter the building data — year of construction, living area, heating system. Every field has an explanation in German; paste it into a translator if you get stuck.
  3. Pay online — PayPal, credit card, Klarna or bank transfer. Prices include VAT.
  4. Receive your certificate by e-mail. Our team checks every order before the certificate is issued.
